The class takes part in a canned food drive, and
the boys take that a bit further after watching a commercial for sponsoring
Ethiopian children. Stan uses his mom's credit card and ends up buying
an Ethiopian instead of a sponsorship. The little boy, Marvin, has to
be returned, but Cartman ends up being hauled off instead. Cartman suffers
in Ethiopia until he finds Sally Struther's secret stash. Eventually,
he goes home after Marvin is returned. |

| Trivia |
- Jerry Seinfeld was not a voice of one of the turkeys. Jerry Seinfeld
was a big fan of the show, and wanted to do a voice, but because Matt
and Trey tend to give celebrities obscure roles, Jerry's people
wouldn't allow him to do the show. Matt and Trey wanted Jerry to be "Turkey
#4". This is revealed on Goin' Down to South Park.
- Sally Struthers was a big fan of South Park before this episode.
It's said that she cried watching it.
- While eating at the all-you-can-eat buffet, Kyle is seen slicing a ham. This is noteworthy, since pork is eschewed in Jewish cuisine. However, he could have been cutting it for someone else (or it may just have been a deliberate throwaway joke).
- When the boys are in Principal Victoria's office, a picture of Kathy Lee Gifford as she appeared in Weight Gain 4000 can be seen on the bookshelf.
