| Trivia |
- Prior to the episode's airing, the Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA) issued a press release saying they "fully expect it to be offensive and insensitive to people with TS and garner numerous calls and emails from our members and the TS community". They also requested that Comedy Central air their public service announcements during or after the show.
- Cartman's I've got a Golden Ticket song is taken from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
- When Kyle is forced to apologize to Cartman. Cartman cocks his head and blinks his eyes (with accompanying sound effects) in a manner similar to Bugs Bunny.
- The title is probably a reference to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's novel, Le Petit Prince.
- The sign in the Toy Store features a man bearing a strong resemblance to the leader from the Super Adventure Club, William P. Phinehas.
- This episode featured a higher than normal amount of curse words than are regularly featured. While many vulgarities such as "shit" were not bleeped as usual, most of the swear words were omitted or replaced with "[obscenities]" in the closed captioning.
- Near the beginning of the episode, while talking to a Toy Safari employee, Thomas' mother can be seen holding a copy of the video game Ōkami. The cover of the game Diablo II and StarCraft: Brood War can also be seen on a display.
- After Cartman starts worrying about his real tics, he tells Chris Hansen that his grandmother passed away, then blurts out "That's not true, my grandma's fine", which is not true, since Cartman's grandmother was already anounced dead in the episode Cartmanland. Since Cartman only has a mother and no father, it's not possible that he meant his "other" grandmother.
