Obsessed with the Guitar Hero video game, Stan and Kyle make a great team and score record points when they play. Stan realizes he has the potential for enormous success if he plays with another partner. He and Kyle break up but, without his friend, Stan quickly folds under the pressure of being a rockstar. |

- When Stan is practicing with Thad in the Gamecraft Arcade, a mechanical claw game can be seen behind the Guitar Hero arcade machine. Inside the claw game are Clyde Frog and Rumpletumskin dolls, as well as the Snacky Smores bear - both of these are dolls that Cartman owns. Also seen is a Pengin toy from Chinpokomon.
- When Mr. Kincaid is holding the Heroin Hero game case, a boy can be seen behind him playing an arcade machine called "Thirst For Blood". This was a game that Stan owned for the Okama GameSphere in Towelie.
- Behind the cashier in the game store, Okami game cases can be seen.
- Of the songs that feature in this episode, only "Pretty Vacant", "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "I Remember You" have never featured in a Guitar Hero game.
- When Kyle and Stan score 100,000 points the wires from their Guitar Controllers are seen detached from the controller.
- While at the coke and sex party, Stan and Kyle see Ron Zappolo and remark that he is the anchor on the CBS 4. Although he worked at this station from 1977-1990, he's currently a Weekday Evening Anchor on rival Fox 31 News.
