Cartman would rather kill himself than succumb. But, when Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman all realize that Butters is now more popular than they are, they have no choice but to give in to peer pressure. |

- When Kyle asks what High School Musical is, Jimmy Vulmer asks, "Where the hell have you guys been?", at which Craig Tucker mutters, "Peru." This a reference to the episodes Pandemic and Pandemic 2: The Startling.
- Clearly, the episode heavily the references the High School Musical series of films. Amongst the similarities:
- The intro to the song that Stan demands not be sung when he starts doubting whether he will lose Wendy is the same intro to 'What I've Been Looking For' from High School Musical.
- The song being sung as the boys enter school is a parody of the song 'We're All in This Together' from High School Musical.
- Kyle's hair near the end of the episode is same style as Corbin Bleu's.
- Bridon Queermo has almost the same dilemma as Zac Efron's character in High School Musical, except it's reversed.
