| Trivia |
- All the kids in the computer class are playing the game Call of Duty: World at War, which was released 8 days prior to this episode airing.
- Some elements of the plot are references to Stephen King's vampire novel and movie Salem's Lot:
- The Goth Kids are the only non-vampires left in South Park, just like Ben, Dr. Cody, Mark, and Father Callahan in Salem's Lot.
- The Goth Kids burn down Hot Topic, in the same way that Mark and Ben burn down the Marsten House.
- Butters plays a role similar to that of Dud Rogers. Dud is a misfit who is always being pushed around.
- The poem Vampir is reading is "The Vampyre" by John Stagg.
- When Steven gets pissed off about something in his coffee, he pulls a spoon out, but another spoon appears out of nowhere in his cup.
