- The April Fools' Day Terrance and Phillip two-parter bait-and-switch is a reference to the South Park episode Terrance & Phillip in Not Without My Anus, aired on April 1, 1998, which was aired in place of "Cartman's Mom Is Still a Dirty Slut", the sequel to "Cartman's Mom Is a Dirty Slut".
- The episode revolves around vaginal flatulence, referred to as queefing.
