The sudden influx of cous cous, raw vegetables
and tofu into the "South Park" sewage system forces Mr. Hankey
to turn to Kyle, Stan, Cartman and Kenny for help in ridding South Park
of the Hollywood element before it's too late. But Kyle's plea turns
into a Hollywood bidding frenzy, as agents swarm looking to make Mr.
Hankey into a summer movie. Meanwhile, the residents of South Park try
to call off the festival after being submitted to valet parking, theme
restaurants and crowded parties. |

Trivia
|
- The movie "Mr. Hankie and Me," is an obvious parody of
the Oscar-winning 1993 film "Philadelphia."
- The film festival parodied here is the Sundance Film Festival,
held every year in Park City, Utah.
- In the "Makin' Bacon with Macon" segment before the episode
on the second season DVD collection we learn that Robert Redford
hates Matt and Trey because of this episode.
- Cartman: "What are we, the Goonies?" - The Goonies is a 1985 movie
about a group of underpriviledged kids who are about to lose their
housing
project. They find a treasure map that promises to solve their problems.
The map takes them underground, just as the South Park boys are in
this episode. Mr. Garrison snorkeling gives Cartman the feeling that
the search for Mr. Hankey is much like a treasure hunt.
