While attempting to rescue Kyle from the bottom
of a snowy crevice, the boys discover a man imbedded in a block of ice.
The world watches while South Park's resident genetic engineer, Mephesto,
studies the "Ice Man" as a possible missing link between prehistoric
man and the modern era. However, events involving the "new find" cause
tension between Stan and his best friend, Kyle. |

Trivia
|
- The Marilyn Manson music video playing in the shop window is "Stinky
Britches," the song from the "Chef Aid" episode.
- The Australian character's show is based on "The Crocodile Hunter ", starring Steve and Terri Irwin, on the Discovery Channel.
- Rather than being a slightly crude joke, it turns out that Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, really does stick his finger into the lower orfice of crocodiles. This is the equivalent of the genital and/or anal opening and is "investigated" to determine their gender, as is shown in an episode of his show.
- "Dude, I saw this in a movie once. The old cavemen get frozen, and then people discover them and make them their caveman friends"- Possibly a reference to the 1992 film Encino Man, in which two guys in Encino, CA., find a frozen cave man in their back yard. They thaw him out and introduce him to the early 1990s.
