| Trivia |
- Phil Collins won the 2000 Oscar for "You'll be in My
Heart" from the
1999 animated film "Tarzan." He was up against and beat Trey
Parker and Marc Shaiman for "Blame
Canada." Their constant mockery of Phil Collins is their form
of sweet revenge.
- "Lollapaloodada": The concert at which Timmy and Phil
Collins will be
playing is referred to by a different mangled name every time it is
mentioned. It is a spoof on the 1990s "Lollapalooza" alternative music
festival founded by Perry Farrell of the bands "Jane's Addiction" and
"Porno for Pyros."
- During a spring 2002 rerun cycle, this was named by
Comedy Central as the 5th most "notorious" episode of the series.
- Mr. Derp (who replaced Chef in Episode 303 "The Succubus") can be seen serving drinks at the Phil Collins concert.
- The Lords of the Underworld were also featured in 3rd
season, Episode
307 "Cat Orgy". The lead singer was Shelly Marsh's boyfriend in the
episode ''Cat Orgy'' and the band members came over to practice their
songs.
- As a follow-up to the episode, Comedy Central
released two pay-per-download MP3 singles from Timmy
and the Lords of the Underworld entitled "Timmy and the Lords of the
Underworld" and "Livin' a Lie."
- During MTV News with Kurt Loder you can see images
from Episode 214 "Chef Aid" on the screens to his left.
- Phil Collins is made to sound like The Gumbys from Monty
Python's Flying Circus.
