| Trivia |
- The King Lion, Aslan, is taken from C.S. Lewis' book "The Lion,
the Witch, and the Wardrobe."
- The campaign of the townspeople against the rich residents mirrors
the terror campaign the Ku Klux Klan waged against African Americans
in the south, such as the burning cross and the white robes.
- The bus
segregation reflects the situation in Montgomery, Alabama in the
1950s, culminating in the arrest of Rosa Parks and the bus
boycott.
- Aslan: "Pull my thorn" -
This refers to "Androcles and the Lion" a fable by Aesop,
about a man who helps a lion by pulling a thorn out of its paw.
- When Cartman says to Ms. Choksondik "I'll make you eat your
parents", it's a reference to the end of "Scott Tenorman
Must Die".
