- Cartman: "...laughin' and singin', sea people and me..." - Cartman's
song is partially a parody of the commercial songs for two failed 1980s
toys named My Buddy and Kid Sister. They both had 10-second
songs to them with a similar rhythm and sound to Cartman's song,
and ended with "(name of toy) and me!"
- Tweak: "But what if it comes to life and tries to kill me?": After
Tweak says this, Kyle says, "How many times has that actually
happened, besides that one time?" They are referring to the "Jesus
vs. Frosty" pilot episode, where the snowman comes alive after
the snowman is dressed in a hat.
- All of Butters' schemes reference various Simpsons episodes:
For instance, blocking out the sun in episode 128/129, decapitating
the town statue in episode 8, selling the monorail in episode 71, shaking
up
the cans
in episode 77 and creating a miniature society in episode 154.
- In the commercial for the episode, when Cartman gets up in the middle
of the morning his clock reads 4:25, but in the episode it reads
5:03.
