Jimmy has to figure out a way to pull himself together before the big talent show. All the kids are getting ready for the big South Park Elementary Talent Show and Jimmy can't wait to perform his new comedy routines. But lately, just like generations of little boys before him, Jimmy's noticed that one of his body parts has a mind of its own. Knowing he can't get up in front of the entire school in an excited state, Jimmy must find a way to gain control of his raging hormones in time to perform in the show. |

- When Cartman tells Jimmy what to say to his date, this is a parody of the 2005 film Hitch starring Will Smith, in which he plays a a professional "date doctor", who coaches other men in the art of wooing women.
- The song playing when Jimmy takes Nut Gobbler to the Ho-Tel room is Joe Cocker/Jennifer Warnes' Up Where We Belong. The scene comes from An Officer and A Gentleman starring Richard Gere.
- "Have you seen this? Have you heard about this?" - Two questions Jay Leno always asks when presenting a news item to lampoon in his monologues.
- For his act in the talent show, Cartman selects readings from the 1983 film, Scarface.
- When Jimmy goes to Colfax Point this is a reference to an actual street - Colfax Avenue, in Denver, Colorado, widely known (in Colorado at least) for prostitution and drugs.
- Jimmy's line "Let's get to r-r-rammin'" is a lyric from the 1980s Prince/Sheena Easton song You've Got The Look.
- Billy Turner plays Frère Jacques on the saxophone. Frère Jacques was sung by a little French boy at the beginning of Team America: World Police.
- When Jimmy imagines everyone laughing at him on stage, the kaleidoscopic views resemble the scene in Carrie where she is being laughed at onstage.
